The extra touches, complimentary ground coffee, peppermints by the bedside, heating on, cleanliness and great comfort, exceptional hosts.  This is a hard act for other moteliers to follow.

This review can only  enhance and endorse the previous reviews.   Other reviewers have noted but again, Dawn and Ray are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble.  Our room was spotless and by far the best on the South Island.  Invercargill is a must see city and the Tower Lodge is the place to stay..
We have but one complaint; we would have liked to stay at least one more day to further explore Coopers Bay etc.  We pre-booked our South Island touring through an agency and were locked into a non flexible schedule.  In retrospect, we would not recommend doing this.

Host hospitality.  Room standards - absolutely immaculate, well appointed and warm.  In short there is nothing lacking here!  Having worked in the hospitality industry, we can be harsh judges of service.  Ray and Dawn are delightful and their motel is highly recommended.  Credit to the city.

We had just lost our car and most of our possessions in a fire.  Dawn only gad one nights accommodation but arranged a second motel for the next night.  she also upgraded the four of us at no extra cost.  She phoned a local chemist to help us with prescriptions for lost medication.  We were also told to come back for tea or coffee after we had checked out.
We really appreciated her kindness.  She certainly went the extra mile, and as we are in Invercargill once a year we will definitely stay there again.
